Tangtang uses a built-in large language model (LLM) to process natural language. When you speak to it, it understands your words, recognizes context and emotional tone, and responds with relevant, natural conversation. No script — every interaction is unique.
No subscription, no monthly fees — Tangtang is a one-time purchase. It requires WiFi to function (2.4GHz), as the AI conversation features run via the cloud. Setup and control are done through the Smart Life app (free on iOS & Android). Once connected, no ongoing fees are needed.
Tangtang requires a 2.4GHz WiFi connection to use its AI features. It does not support 5GHz networks. Without WiFi, the device will not be able to respond or converse.
Tangtang supports English conversation. Additional language support may vary depending on the AI model selected and network region.
Tangtang is intended for users aged 14 and above, as indicated on the packaging. It has no camera and no moving parts. Please note that Tangtang has not been certified as a children's toy and is not designed for young children. Always follow the age recommendation on the packaging.
No. Tangtang has no camera. It only listens through a microphone for voice interaction, and processes audio locally for privacy. We made this choice intentionally — a companion shouldn't watch you.
